Darlene Norris Bradshaw, 62, of 571 Mosley Avenue, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Graveside Service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Park by Pastor Lynn Blackburn officiting. The family will receive friends following the service.

Darlene was born in Sampson County in 1964 to Marie Hobbs Norris and the late Ronald “Pete” Norris. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1983 and worked as a bookkeeper for the Sampson County Department of Social Services.

In addition to her father, Darlene was preceded in death by her son, Adam Keith Bradshaw; her grandparents, Charles and Aileen Russell Hobbs and Fletcher and Delsey Gallagher Norris; Johnathon Campfield and Tracy Campfield; and her beloved four-legged companions, CJ and Cheyenne.

Darlene leaves to cherish her memory her life partner, James “Peewee” Carr of Clinton; her mother, Marie Norris of Clinton; her sister, Sheila Campfield and husband, Norman, of Kenansville; her aunt, Edna Warren of Clinton; her uncles, Jeff Hobbs of South Carolina and Alton Hobbs of Dunn; her niece, Shanda Bass and husband, Bobby, of Kenansville; and her nephew, Chris Campfield and wife, Samantha, of Kenansville. She also leaves behind her treasured four-legged children, Taz and Jerzi, and her beloved cat, Shadow.
