Carolyn was born in Sampson County on January 24, 1944 to the late Troy O.Tyndall and Sofia M.Tyndall. She enjoyed her time working with her customers at Lydia's Grill.
She was a devoted woman of faith whose life was beautifully defined by her love of the Lord, her family, and her church. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished the time spent with those she loved. The memories she created and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her faith and dedication to her church were an extraodinary part of her life. She was a honorary member of Holmes Bible College. A faithful member of Tyndall Grove PH Church for 80 years, she carried a deep and lasting connection to the church, which her own family helped establish. For her, the church was more than a place of worship: it was a home to a beloved church family and a place where she could share her love for the Lord and serve others. She held a leadership role within the church for 40 years, offering her time, talents and faithful service to a congregation that meant so much to her.
Music was another great love of her life. She shared her musical gifts by playing the piano for 20 years, helping fill the church with the sounds of worship and praise. Her love of music was a reflection of the joy and devotion she carried in her heart. She was also fond of flowers and found happiness in their beauty, bringing a special appreciation for the simple blessings of life. Her dedication to her faith, her church, and her family leaves behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten. She will be remembered for her steadfast devotion to the Lord, her years of faithful service, her love of music and flowers, and the deep love she held for those closest to her.
Her life was a testament to a faith well lived and a love generously shared. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she leaves behind and the example she st will countiune to live on through her family, her church family and all those whose lives she touched. She will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished.
